Milk free tea "butter"

Image 1. Click to open in original size.

This is a great way of using used tea leaves and it's super easy to do. You can use it with baked potato or other times you would use herbal butter. The kind of tea you use decides what kind of food it fits to

ingredients

about 50 grams of milk free margarine

about 1 tablespoon of used tea leafs like for example japanese green tea.

Take out your margarine and let it become a little soft

Stir in the tea leafs, if you want more flavour you can use more tea.

Roll in plasic foil and put it in the refridgerator until you want to use it.

Use it too baked potato or other times you would use herbal butter.

Choose your tea based on what your cooking but choose a tea that has quite soft leafs (so not kukicha or similar teas). Normally green, white or yellow teas

Do you know of any good tea/food matches except for baked potatoes?

Best regards, Niklas 🎈

#1 That depends on the tea.

All the other things I have tried are non Vegan though but I have hears that some have flavoured "butter" to baked artichoke for example but to that I think that fu jian mao feng would be a better fit (it's a chinese green tea)
