Vegan personal trainer

In Sweden lives Amanda Bengtsson, she works as a personal trainer with a twist - she's all VeganThumbs up In >this< Swedish interview she answers some questions about working out as a Vegan.

"One big question many people have is whether it is possible to get the right amount of Protein in a plant-based diet, what do you say about that?

  • There is no problem getting into the Protein through a plant-based diet, it is more about what knowledge you have about food. All fruits and vegetables contain carbohydrates, Protein and fat, but in varying amounts. The key is to eat a varied diet and be sure to take in legumes, cereals, fruits and nuts every day. If you want to make sure that you get in a lot of Protein, you can eat more of, for example, lentils, beans, quinoa and nuts."
