Is it harder to be a vegan in winter?

Less vegetables are in season during winter. Does that make it harder to be a Vegan? If you had to rely on domestic foods, would you survive?

Well, I mean, you can almost survive on potatoes alone so. But since we always have canned or dry beans, peas and veggies and vitamin supplements and greenhouses that's not a problem. And that's also why I don't have any troubles during the winter but maybe that is different in other countries? In Sweden there's no problem finding vegetables that's not in season.
