What vegan food do you like best?

Rate the ones in the list, add your own alternatives and explain why you like your favorites best. I start the list with the few vegetables that were common when I grew up. :-)

#4 It's the best vegetable in the world and better yet it's free!

(The best cultivated vegetable is Kåhl rabi, but only if you grow it your self, not store bought)

#6 You can eat it raw, you can boil it, have it in stews, fry it, have it in pies, pasties. Everywhere where you can use spinach or lettuce. I have even used it in sushi
